Anne Isabella Milbanke, Lady Byron is in Kensal Green Cemetery.
She's quite tucked away. I have to make sure the vegetation is cleared if I'm taking anyone there.

I'm a tour guide at Kensal Green Cemetery where Vice Admiral Villiers Francis Hatton is buried. He was First Officer on HMS Seagull in 1808 when it was captured by the Danes. It was transferred to the Norwegian Navy so this is probably the same ship.

People often don't understand average age figures.
Look at this, from Kensal Green Cemetery.
Mother and father lived to 80 and 85. Their four children died at 26y, 16y, 2y8m, 8m.
Another person's details are lost in the grass (I must go back).
Samuel Canning worked on the GWR.

My great uncle was in Bourlon Wood with the 12th Lancers towards the end of the battle. He was awarded the Military Medal. As far as I know, he took command when all the officers were killed or wounded.
He made it through the entire war without a recorded wound.

In 1998 visited Gothenburg and saw the replica 18th-century ship, Götheborg, being built.
In 2022 went on board her when she visited London.

There were eight commercial cemeteries established in the 1830's and 1840's. However, one of them had closed long before Mellor coined the phrase.
The extra one was called Victoria Park Cemetery. It is now Meath Gardens in Tower Hamlets. The gate still exists.

I'm finding lots of entertainment on LinkedIn seeing how they don't understand retirement. Because "place of work" is a required field, I get nonsense such as this:
(I've been retired for 6 years).

The photo was taken at the mausoleum of Frederick Huth, a banker, in Kensal Green Cemetery.
I'm a tour guide there and used to mention it. Not so much now.
