I did not mean he has potential to be the ace of the staff when I said that. I meant he had the potential to be either a backend rotation guy or a decent bullpen arm. That's a pretty great value for what I'm assuming he's getting.

What I wrote is that his season long numbers (which you have highlighted here) hide the fact that he was actually pretty good by the end of the season. But everyone keeps ignoring that point and complaining about the season long numbers, like you're doing here.
