Every time Trump and his minions say that a phone call with Putin was productive, I want the reporter to simply ask: how do you measure that in concrete results? And let’s compare this to the “productive” meeting you had in Alaska, what came of that?

Trump has so many “great productive” conversations with Putin - and yet still zero progress on ending the war. Putin plays him like a fiddle every time. Let’s just talk next week, and then we will set up a meeting, and then nothing will happen except another month will go by while more people die.

The cost of ignoring / not shooting down previous drones is now going up. Russia is just testing the boundaries and making NATO spend a bunch of money, 20 jets in the air is expensive.

Here’s the threat: if you do nothing, then Russia will keep doing more provocations until the threat is in your capital city, and then the cost is much higher. Shoot them down, and it won’t happen again
