Though I am gone from The Sun, people keep sending me evidences of its decline. Today page A15 is page A15 of The Philadelphia Inquirer. No doubt a slipup by Gannett’s crackerjack team in Wilmington. This is coming close to mocking the afflicted.

A friend sends me a Baltimore Sun article that appears to be an unedited press release, a copy and paste. At one time we would have had more shame than to do that.

Done with The Sun after 38 years. A year ago David Smith of Sinclair Broadcasting bought the paper. As of today I have canceled print and online subscriptions, deleted the app, and unsubscribed to the emails. And I am not happy that it came to this.
