Finally got a chance to play Glorantha: The Gods War - a boardgame I’ve had sitting unplayed on my shelf for bloody ages! What a great game! Lovely game figures and board and really fun gameplay. Ok, you need a football pitch to play it on, but Timothy Payne has that perfect pitch-sized table 😁👍🏻.

So this weekend’s epic instalment of our long running steampunk game saw the retirement of my old character, Gong, a kung fu master, who in his time had won the world’s toughest martial arts competition, and kicked the head off an elder god.

Just finished @mytholder.bsky.social’s Sword Defiant. What an absolute corker! It’s so refreshing to see a fresh take on high fantasy, that doesn’t trample all over the things that make it precious. Plus the sly way he drops Easter egg quotes into the dialogue just for shits and giggles 🤭. 5🌟
