The MONSTERS TV SERIES had a new monster every episode. For MUSEUM HEARTS I sculpted a prosthetic makeup for the character of a reanimated Bog Woman - buried in peat for 1,000 years. Prosthetic, hair, and teeth designed by John Dods.

I was the Director of Special Effects for the feature THE DEADLY SPAWN. This set - appearing at the end of the movie - was designed by Tim Hildebrandt and constructed by Tim, Greg Ramoundas, Glenn Takakjian, and John Dods.

I had 5 days in which to make this giant "Bloodworm" for the MONSTERS TV SERIES. I glued sheet foam onto a 3' wide air conditioning duct and created a smooth surface with paper towels dipped in liquid latex. The worm hairs are turkey quills with the soft feather part removed.

I was asked to create the Frankenstein Monster makeup for Mel Brook's Broadway musical version of his YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN movie. It had to be similar to the film version but have a thin brow that allowed for full facial expression of actor Shuler Hensley.

I was asked to create a makeup for the Monster in Mel Brook's Broadway musical version of his movie YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. The director, Susan Strohman, ask me to make the rubber brow thin enough so that actor Shuler Hensley could have complete facial expression. It worked!
