I'll try to keep this account mostly professional for my astronomy career, but if anyone is especially in need of cat photos this week, here are my two little goofballs!

Their names are Castor and Pollux because they're inseparable brothers (and also Geminis haha)
Excited to attend the 61st Karpacz Winter School for theoretical physics! This will be an incredible networking opportunity and a chance to share results from my upcoming paper on Non-LTE analysis of neodymium in metal-poor FGK stars.

Spent my weekly research meeting just talking to my advisor about mental health. It's kind of comforting to see that everyone in astronomy here seems to understand that it'll be a slow work week.

Only one person showed up to my instrumentation class on 11/6 and he was wearing his red cult hat 🙄🤮
