For the winter fuel payment, yes. Does it allow Scotland to pay reparations to their WASPI pensioners?

Fair enough, I stand corrected. So what cuts in other services will be made to release funding for these choices? Your health service, housing, police, education? All can make good arguments for additional funding.

Can they recompense pensioners? That’s a decision reserved for Westminster as it’s a benefit.

It’s asking where all the cash to fund these choices is coming from. Or does the SNP have oodles of lucre stashed away (clearly not)? Parties that make promises that seem too good to be true tend to lose, ask Labour 2019. So how are these choices costed?

Well, where does a responsible Party get the money to pay for a particular list of choices? Granted, the rich should pay more but, also granted, no government ever gets what they hope from the rich. That usually leaves PAYE taxpayers. So where does the SNP get the resources to fund the OP priorities

Well, that’s a reasoned response. Not unexpected.

You must have money to burn. Must be nice.

Because nothing at all has changed in this country’s financial outlook in the last 5 years. Nothing at all that has cost the country dearly in money and lives. 2024 is nothing like 2019.

Political opportunism, exactly what I’d expect from the current iteration of Lid-Dems.
