Asked Brian of #lightningbolt how he tunes his bass:
“…it’s the A D G string tuned to 5ths A E B and the banjo strings start an octave up and tuned to 4ths B and E. I just use the lowest banjo string in the pack that aren’t wound and that seems to work. I don’t use a tuner, tuning can drift around”
