I was 4 in 1966 so don't really know. I guessed it might be the 100 Club. The logo behind them might be similar to the trumpeter sign that was used by the club. They definitely played there quite often according to an extraordinary website I just found

I think the drummer may have been Skip Allen. He apparently made his first recording on Midnight to Six Man.
Fantastic selection of tunes on the film and some good period locations. Too many crotch shot for my liking.

That whole compilation is fantastic but that one is amazing. The sleeve notes describe EBay searches which get you endless items of bedroom furniture and no records.
