Seems high to me - Report extract: “the prevalence of students aged 12–17 ever vaping in the ASSAD survey increased from 13.5% in 2017 to 29.9% in 2022–2023. In the NDSHS, the proportion of people aged 14–17 who reported vaping in their lifetime increased from 9.2% in 2016 to 28% in 2022–2023.”

Myself, close friends, teacher friends all have teenage children and see the problems first hand. The easier and cheaper for them to get vapes the more likely they will try it and become addicted. Nobody wants to see another generation go through what Tabacco smokers went through.

Again not debating - just insulting.

I teach my children consequences just as I teach them the difference between debating and insulting.

We try to teach their children the right thing- but when vapes are were so readily available, so cheap, and with kids flavours and smells it’s too easy for them. We can sit back and do nothing and watch a whole new generation become addicted or we can do or utmost to protect them.

There are lots of issues like alcohol and sugar that need to be addressed but that doesn’t lessen the fact that vapes are damaging our kids and they need to be protected from it.

Ask any parent with high school kids, ask any high school teacher or student and any honest person can see vaping is an epidemic amongst our children and needs to be stopped. Your comments simply cloud the reality of the risk our children face.
