This summer MA student Sam Neunzig and Dr. John Blong surveyed high-elevation snow and ice patches in Kenai Fjords & Lake Clark National Parks in Alaska. Their work explores ancient high-elevation hunting practices preserved in melting ice and how climate change is transforming cultural sites.
