Given an update folder with the latest CU(31) and the Latest Security HF. The SQL 2017 installer ONLY chooses the HF to install not the CU. The end result of @@version is CU31 + the HF version.
The HF doco says CU31 is a pre req.

UPS started failing. Went to check the battery…. Oh dear, installed 2018. Time flies. They were failing under load. One was a bit leaky. Looks like it off to get a new set.

So I opened it up and then the major disappointment. Only to your onedrive . 😭
