I didn’t mean it as “harsh”. And I still don’t think this meets my objection. It seems more like a throw away “to be sure” line, which is said only in passing, some hand waving. For example - what would the test be for you? If Shai/Jokic did 80/50. For u, then what?

Your article on the 65 game rule. you didn’t include an analysis of “The best ability is availability”. Shai plays 20 more game than Jokic - that should matter, even if his overall numbers are not as impressive. Outcome of your article is - those 20 extra games don’t matter. And that is just wrong.

If “the devil” is LLMs: it is a tool. tool keeps getting better, so I use it. Long term - yeah, it’s going to be a problem for society. Cory Doctorow - “enshittification” for tech platforms 2005-2025. The potential for LLM enshittification is incredibly, profoundly scary, no doubt.

THIS is true. And, THIS is one of the possible consequences of Waymo et al. Everyone wants that great ride, and Waymo’s flood the streets. Still worth it because of the drop in accidents with walkers, bikers, other cars, and not contributing gas into the environment. But a real cost.

got around to listening to this. Excellent podcast! Perfectly identifies essential elements to get decision changes for people. As u identified long ago - constant RW noise machine of “hate democrats” has reaped 40 years of fruit. Dems constitutionally do not engage this way. A big problem.

At any rate - as a fan who listens, “the truth matters”. I will continue to respectfully point out untruths and double standards. from the NBA content perspective- NBA commentary is entertainment business, truth matters less. “A good hook” matters more. U both are good at it.

For what it is worth, AI is great for research. Attached is an example. Right now, every time someone mentions Harden and playoffs. All that analysts repeat ad nauseum is “gamy, game 7, game 7”. Especially Zach the Hack Lowe.?It’s a calling card. But stats - what AI is good at -proves that untrue.
