Was a match going red in the Sexton era. He actually lasted 4 full seasons. it wasn't that he didn't win any trophies, it was that he set United up not to lose rather than go out to win games. The club was too big for him & for many others who followed.

Loved Tommy Cav but the football under Sexton was some of the most turgid I've ever witnessed by the Reds.
