It looks like they’re admirably careful not to say people ‘believe’ what they are saying. Rather, they just ‘endorse’ or claims. I have wondered, for example, if flat earthers believe what they are saying. I suspect not and thus think we need to be careful when writing about what people say.

Why is it an either/or framing? Why alienate golfers? Land is not scarce in the US (or UK?). There’s plenty of room for both and I worry this kind of framing exacerbates polarization (i.e., stirs up a fight that doesn’t need to be fought).
