Me emerging from several months of silence on Bluesky to post about gremlins

I would so much rather watch Carrie finally find love with a man who is just simply nice to her and fun to be around than watch Lisa Todd Wexley wear another psychotic necklace and argue with her in-laws! This season had an episode where Charlotte's dog gets cancelled! Who is this show even for????

I also think it is very clear that an email went out to Taylor Swift at some point re: Sympathy is a Knife remix, because she is randomly quoted in NY Mag’s Charli cover story, and she is clearly the central character in the original track. The chorus lyrics feel very tailored to her whole thing

The main thing wrong with Brat remix album (which I think I actually prefer over the original album) is the 1975 song, a sore thumb at track 4, ruins the vibe entirely from a sonic perspective and when you remember known loser Matty Healy is holding Rina Sawayama’s music hostage it only gets worse

Also: astounding that Julia Fox is not featured anywhere on Brat remix album when “I’m so Julia” is such a central component of the text, major missed opportunity, imagine she was singing a verse on there instead of, say, Matty Healy

Couple things I didn’t get to share in the piece:

- my kingdom for Brat remix album minus Matty Healy, plus Rina Sawayama, please work it out on the remix by EOD
- “I’ve been looking at you so long now I only see me” fits into the puzzle somehow
- critical reevaluation of Crash ASAP
