Don't get discouraged. Timing is usually the culprit for discrepancies like this. But in all seriousness sometimes problems are big enough for different people to try different ways even if it seems duplicative. it's progress- and a good time to document those differences.

Great ideas here. Of course equity homes and small LTCs are not an innovation, but I think there's a lot opportunity for operators who can staff and manage such properties cost-effectively.

Beyond these business books, what reading do you recommend to learn more about real estate? I would say John Burns' Big Shifts Ahead, for perspective on how to use population data in the industry.
