Because he had an incredible season and they thought there was a reasonable chance he’d be very good again. Since he’s not playing at that level, they can just sell him. Not a bad outcome at all if they can get nine figures for him, other than it’s a sad way to end his time there.

Other than it’s a beloved player, is this even really a problem, doesn’t this shake out well for Liverpool? You convinced Salah to sign a new deal and can now sell him for 100m to a Saudi team.

If you include all rushing attempts, we ran 35 times for 135 yards, not great. If you go off just designed runs and exclude tush push and scrambles, about the same average. Obviously the issue was Darnold having a full blown meltdown but lack of run game makes his job even harder.

Was the Seahawks defense really that good yesterday? Stuffed the run, forced turnovers, also gave up 385 yards of offense to a banged up Niners.

He was barely over .500 and getting paid 2.5m a year, consistently fading in second half of seasons. Seems like not a huge loss for that money. Take a swing on some up and coming coach. If he goes around .500, he will have done as well as Dickert.

WA wasn’t happy seeing Wilson down bad but we’re not sure we like him being up this good, either, even though we keep telling people we’ve moved on.

I don’t mean this in a mean way, but do we really think he’s doing anything other than kissing the kid on the forehead and holding them for three minutes a day, given that he’s wealthy and has an extremely demanding job? If he is, hats off to him.
