Just finished Barney Hoskyns' wonderful Hotel California. The story of how the days of folk rock and singer-songwriters in the canyons became corporatized cocaine fuelled stadium rock as epitomized by The Eagles & Fleetwood Mac. He endeared himself to me further with these notes about himself.
