Hi Edwin, I was a multi-booter for years. I had modest hardware, but I used to be able to load up to about 10 different Operating Systems. I had a 2nd hdd, and could boot from both. I had, at different times, and different versions, all the BSD's, and multiple Linuxes, and a couple of experimentals.
