What is worse is that even after things get to a certain point, where laws are being passed to deport black and brown people, that make it more and more illegal to be Trans in America, when we are dropping bombs on children paid for by our tax dollars, it is still largely silent.

I love this. I think that theological language or concepts that stick with me are because of surprise and wonder. Something being so different than what we are given can have that effect.
