Getting winter tires swapped off… so MN snowstorms in the next two weeks are my fault. 😀

I donate platelets at the Red Cross as much as I can. Got an email from them thanking me, but saying that they’re running behind needs in February (presumably this will continue into March as well.) 😕 A platelet shortage means that people may not be able to get the cancer treatments they need. 🙁

Got my award plaque on Saturday for finishing half marathons in all 50 (U.S.) states. I actually ran state #50 in May, 2024, but the awards banquet (and my third state in the *second* round of 50) was in Mesa, AZ at the Mesa Marathon.

What the actual heck? I *distinctly remember doing all the laundry a while ago, and yet, here I am with a bunch of dirty clothes that need to washed.

I already did that chore once!!!!!!!

I am going to buy a thousand square-drive bits (the thing for dealing with screws that aren’t flathead, phillips, or torx), and fling handfuls of them into every room in the house.

That way, I’ll have a chance at finding one when I need it!!

I’m sure that there’s a ton of paperwork for employer-provided health insurance, but it’s always been hidden.
There’s a sh*t-ton of stuff to deal with in getting an ACA plan figured out, selected, approved, paid for, and then auto-paid for, and I no longer have an HR department dealing with it.
