There is no pathway for young players just now at Celtic. Biggest players for us in past 10-12 years have been Forrest, McGregor, Tierney and (dare I say in terms of number of times he has stepped in) Ralston. Why do the club see no value in developing our own talent and putting them in first team??

It sounds to me a similar set up to Bloom at Hearts and Bournemouth at Hibs. They will be part of a multi club system more than likely used to develop Leeds players. Guaranteed. I remember you guys talking about this style of ownership on a pod a while ago, it would be terrible for us. Soulless.

I agree, game plan won’t be hugely different, Maeda through the middle from 70 minutes to spook them. But we need to have kept it competitive before that stage 🫣

I never thought I’d say this but… I am starting to see Yang’s potential. I have no idea what Rodgers is going to do on Tuesday with Idah/Maeda. Idah’s goal today was a beaut!

Play-off was the target but the fact we have been competitive across all (except one) of our European games is a sign of massive progress. I always enjoy seeing academy players coming on, we need to be bolder with doing that in domestic games imo.

Surprised to see Trusty in! But this looks like the warm up team for midweek! I have a sense of dread for these next two games which is stark contrast to start of the season when I felt like we were playing some of the best football Celtic have played in decades, fast attacking football today please
