Wouldn't it be the equivalent of the MMORPGs of the old? Thats one place I feel many older gamers might have treated like a job.
(And it feels to me like Gacha games were cheaper distilled MMORPGs (- the MMO part), and the newer bigger ones are somehow, slowly but surely just re-becoming MMORPGs)

I do wonder if that has ever worked out?
Like there has to have been one (1) idea guy (non-dev) that actually had an idea amazing enough to be picked up by a dev AND become successful.
I cant think of one and that seems unthinkable.

Rhythm Games!
Their game looks cool (obviously), they have good/insightful opinions, they share useful dev resources and/or techniques, they achieve something I'm interested in or they just seem cool. Always nice to learn from others and/or see others progress and grow!
