Maybe i'm being too much of a cynical doomsayer, we're inching closer and closer where we as species will need to change our relation to work and how much we define our existences by having it (and our reliance on it to basic survival). There won't be enough jobs to sustain 8+ billion people.

I'm sorry to break it to you, but it will also be used on art, it's just a matter of time (like i've said, i give it ~15 years) at this point, i truly believe we've already passed a point of no return, current possible applications are hyped to hell and not real but won't remain as such forever.

It's a company that survived pretty much the worse of gamedev cycles can offer, so, yeah, i don't think team well-being is something Swen considers that much, he ingrained himself into the hustle mindset (and you can notice this in multiple interviews).

Regulation of AI is good and needed (and companies rushing their implementation need a reality check to what the tool can really do), but there's no stopping this train, even if it's hyped to the moon.

I understand the defensiveness but personally i accepted the dreadful reality that my profession, electrical engineering will be essentially out of a job in 15~20 years due to how easier, faster and cheaper programs will be able to do most of my current occupations.

The thing is, it is a tool, weather you need the same number of humans or not it's not related to the tool but what you're trying to achieve. Photoshop made photo editing easier, faster and cheaper and it put out a lot of photo editors out of a job. You can't put the genie back into the lamp.

Por essas e outras que a gente vê tanta noticia da Nintendo, Disney e etc entrando na justiça para forçar mudança de nomes que usam as suas marcas, personagens e afins, a Peanuts deveria ter forçado a mudança de nome da banda lá no inicio, capaz da Justiça decidir diferente do INPI.

É que existe a chance da bolha não estourar e sim murchar devagar, pode ser que encontrem uma forma de aplicar, mas enquanto continuarem vendendo como solução mágica é difícil acreditar. Vamos enfrentar uma crise pesada em alguns anos pois muito crédito está atrelado a isso dar certo.
