As well as business cards and the signs with QR codes that I always have at my table, I take payments through SumUp on my phone or into a little cashbox.

Separate to the business cards, I include a bookmark in every paperback book sale, mine look like this:
a set of my bookmarks, which read "queer fiction by johannes t. evans" on one side and "gay-ass books by johannes t. evans" on the other, and then a simple business card with my contact details and website.

me, a white man sitting at a plain white table with hand-written price lists and only two sets of books and a small set of badges available, as well as a pile of free candy me at meanwood market with a lot more books and badges laid out. some books have sticky labels marking them as 18+. the tablecloths are just cheap pieces of fabric from the haberdasher's, and the main one is printed with anchors and helm's wheels and is very on brand. on the right you can see an A4 version of the sign in image 4 myself and my partner at the manchester queer art market. my books now have mini post-it notes that have "tags" on them so that people can get an idea of their themes just from a glance, like "autism" "fantasy", etc i have this info printed on a piece of a4 card, but the version printed on a3 metal is big but still super lightweight, it's a great way for people to get an idea of who i am and what i do at a glance. the lightweight metal is a lot more hardwearing and less prone to damage than the cardboard ones as well as cheaper, and these are actually great for price lists as well, as prominent price lists can be great for markets and cons
