Like you said, it's a really rich space! At some point, I want to design my own cards, but at this early stage I'm still learning to interpret card spreads well.

I came from scene-based zero prep one shot story games like Microscope, Fiasco and For the Queen, and I'm working on my prompt writing.

I love about Spindlewheel that it focuses on language prompts, while the tarot utilizes the visual symbols on the card face pic. A good match.

You're completely right! I just downloaded Spindlewheel Forever, and it's a lot to get through. I'm wondering about your process - are you doing a lot of solo spreads, or do you test everything with other players? I'm new to tarot cards in roleplaying, but I love how they work differently from dice.

I was experimenting with mixing spindlewheel and the tarot - like other RPGs are using major and minor arcana in different ways. Is that something you ever played around with?
