I genuinely believe the only way we smash fascism is if the next Democratic administration is willing to use prosecutions and investigations in aggressive and norm-bending ways that make a lot of bien pensant legal academics extremely uncomfortable.

That might make for a meritocracy where a child of a laborer, an intelligent child w/ ambition, intelligence, & discipline would displace the child of an insanely rich CEO. The desire for a new age of feudalism among the ultra wealthy precludes this. This isn't about fairness; it's class warfare.
