My local little venue is closing next month. Really it closed in the pandemic when the sound proofing, great acoustics and heart was also ripped out. First to a mini theatre with birthday parties. Will be sharing a few old photos. When it was the alt and inclusive venue to go to

Sadly Stone Temple Pilots didn't happen cancelled last minute. Also saw Terrorvision in the Leadmill the night Slash was at the original Corporation. I still feel I chose the correct gig.

Excellent night for so many reasons. Class act and more talented than certain bands they support. Old school vibes no trouble friendly audience and even packed the buses n chatted on the return to town centre.

Ticketmaster strikes again presale Metallica already some Oasis prices out there. Saw them at their best a few times in the early days. Stand on your head (only joking). Both Sheffield arena gigs between £12 and £17.50. Wish my wages had increased like stadium n arena tickets.

Great day off trip to Leeds. Coffee, shopping, took mum to The Ivy for lunch. Then free Ricky Warwick acoustic in one of the smallest record stores in Leeds. Could have been even better if logistically could have made it to York for the Stiff Little Fingers support

Just found this 90s classic propping up a pile of boxes on a high shelf. 2 AAs and a dust and it works perfectly. Not much bigger than my smart phone or heavier. It went to Cyprus with me and Spain and was in action through grunge

It's been a leave the radio off type of day. Trying to get creative again and read and listen without intrusion from DJs and ads. Bought these treats yesterday/ modern classics. Love both on first listen. Been going to buy Romance for ages now need their back catalogue

Just announced less than a tenner more than most tributes in my local. Happy with this one I'm getting jaded with seeing Tributes with the exception of half a dozen excellent ones

Great band I saw at least a couple of times that era. Ticket just in view top left. Much better Brit Pop bands around than the top 2.

May have been actually a headline gig as below. Also at the Symposium gig underneath another great band who bubbled below the radar but had many good support tours
