You'd become fast friends with my wife if she heard you singing this.

Should probably make that code color more contrasted for easier readability.

Lots of smart people in this places. I'm sure someone can find a way to get some AC installed. And besides, you're never terribly far from a beach, so you can keep doing that 😁

Air conditioned rooms work well for surviving high temperatures too

I'm exploring it. I'm looking at Formkit, Shadcn Vue, and Nuxt UI and trying to figure out how to best combine things, what gives the best control while also needing the least customization. Obviously Formkit is only form stuff, but it still provides those components

Both of those. Tailwind for the simple stuff and modules for more complicated stuff and to use with binding styles to variables

Great stuff! One of these days when I get back around to working on my new project, I'll give this a try!

I've never seen this. Granted I've been using Firefox-based browsers almost exclusively for a while now. How long has this been a thing?

I just can't even go back to plain JS anymore... I can't!

Especially these days when no one has a long enough attention span for a book

I learned Git nearly from scratch from the official book git-scm.com/book/en/v2
Maybe not the best choice but it worked for me
Git
git-scm.com

Any time I've tried AI for code (other than enhanced autocomplete) it's failed pretty hard, so anything good would be a surprise at this point

Seeing this reminded me it was April 1 and helped me realize what the temporary BlueSky character limit change is about. Thanks for lying to me!

Sure. I was just going for sarcasm but reverse psychology may be more useful

It's definitely never coming out

If only FF had support for all those features.

I just want Zen, but stable and Chromium-based for dev tools and web tech support, plus a good ad blocker.
March 24, 2025 at 6:23 PM
Zen has been really cool but is pretty unstable so I have to learn new ways to use it every week or 2. I like Edge but I don't want MS to have all my browsing data and the workspaces needing to be separate windows and so isolated from each other annoys me (isn't that what profiles are for).

I liked Opera but it kept messing up my synced data. It had some very interesting apps with experimental mobile app UI. Vivaldi just had a few quirks that were different from other browsers that bugged the heck out of me (plus their built in apps like calendar and email are just crappy bloatware).

Dangit! This actually looks really cool. I've been so slow to get around to finishing my Storyblok-based site that by the time I actually get around to it, I might actually use this instead... assuming it's a bit more complete.

This really is cool. I wonder how well Node and JS on the back end would have taken off if something like this existed 10+ years ago...
