Complain about the refs if you want, but that's not the reason the Devils lost tonight. Outplayed for the majority of the game. Hurricanes are a strong team & very good at home. Take the split of the two games & give credit where it's due. #NJDevils

The main reason for losing your job coming down to someone else unexpectedly getting fired is a tough one.
