For sure! That's what I figure. My guess is that this is just a small blind spot and it wouldn't take much for him to acknowledge the mistake. I hope he governs for everyone and not just the people he mentioned in his speech. I'm optimistic, but I think it's also okay to say your concerns out loud!

This is a fair take! That said, NYC is one of the largest urban Native enclaves in the world and I worry that if he has a blind spot when it comes to Native folks, that it'll hurt his ability to serve his Native constituents. It's just a small concern is all.

Thanks! My guess is it's just a blind spot and not something purposeful. Everything else in his speech was fantastic. I just have a feeling that he doesn't have any Native folks on his team. NYC is one of the largest urban Native enclaves in the world and I want us to not be left behind, you know?

Thirdly, people love this book! Even before it came out it was already a #1 Amazon Best Seller. Rami Malek received an advanced copy and he gave the book a glowing recommendation while in an interview for one of his upcoming films!

Secondly, writing a book is hard enough, but she wrote it while in the middle of treatment for breast cancer. Even while going through one of the scariest and most physically taxing things someone can go through, she wanted to use all of her extra energy to help others achieve their dreams.
