Atmospheric river smacking California today while we wait for our turn to come this weekend in British Columbia. Northern and coastal BC are getting some precip today but the party comes by Friday for most of us. Unfortunately there's a risk of arctic air moving in after all this resolves.

Atmospheric river smacking California today while we wait for our turn to come this weekend in British Columbia. Northern and coastal BC are getting some precip today but the party comes by Friday for most of us. Unfortunately there's a risk of arctic air moving in after all this resolves.

It's been 4 years since the worst atmospheric river event in recent memory wreaked havoc on southwestern BC. So how far we come in planning since you ask? It's like this, by the time they are done discussing what they should do everything will be under water again.

New SNOWFALL WARNINGS were put up this morning. Gonna get messy up north of PG, one of those days emergency crews and tow trucks are watching the Pine Pass closely. Then we get a couple days of improvement before back to back storms arrive later this week. It's been a pretty active fall so far.
