It's not your job to make sure others are ok. They're responsible for their own emotional regulation.

I would ask people who see your interactions with your husband if they see you being treated like a doormat. That can give you verification that your feelings are true. No matter what others say, if you feel that you need to set boundaries, do it. Other people don't have to live your life.
