Sometimes I forgot that social media doesn't operate like corporate email. If you go through the backlog, find stuff you missed, say "whoops I missed this", and try to spark a convo everyone knows you still use Outlook and you get negative engagement points.

It really feels like we did automation backwards. Giving all of the thinking tasks to machines and giving ourselves the manual labor is so backwards. In the meantime - if you have 10 years on your hands, robotics investments seem to make sense.

Just reread OpenAI's Superalignment essay. Makes me think Google should've dedicated 20% of compute to "don't be evil" to avoid their current dumpster fire state. Not sure if OpenAI will avoid self-immolation or setting the world on fire, but I applaud the approach. openai.com/index/introd...
