I do agree that "good" flash is poetry, bad flash is just a short story that's really really short. Your point is well made that people just don't want to be branded as poets though!

I do think a lot of the justification conservatives give to trump's actions are a result of being convinced that the left is going to do exactly that to them if they lose. Cheat at elections? Ideologize education? Round up "unwanteds"? For many, it's either we do it or they do
