I’m not sure what I did to please algorithm daddy, but FB has been showing me TONS of clips of the great Rodney Dangerfield’s appearances on Carson. Those men are two of my favorite entertainers ever.

I’ve been on a Bruce Springsteen odyssey over the last week, going all the way back to the start of his catalog. I’d never heard this song before, but I’ve now listened to it at least 15 times. Beautifully sad storytelling.

I’ve been on a Bruce Springsteen odyssey over the last week, going all the way back to the start of his catalog. I’d never heard this song before, but I’ve now listened to it at least 15 times. Beautifully sad storytelling.

I’m taking Morse Code lessons, and just finished up for tonight. Here you can see my fancy new red Putikeeg straight key, my practice oscillator, and my WWII-era J-38 straight key. It’s fun, but I suspect it’s going to take a while to get it internalized.

Just under two weeks ago, I passed the amateur radio Technician exam. During lunch today, I passed the General exam. 🙌🏻 Now, to actually start using my radio.
And I'm starting Morse Code lessons this week, too. 🙌🏻
