Gruenwald did the same sort of thing in Squadron Supreme. Great way of getting kids to think about their politics, without being too heavy handed. He is underrated as a writer imo.

Probably not going to be helpful to you Peter, but I'm going to shoot my shot. The missus and I always start with dinners first. What are the dinners that we're actually going to make that week and what is needed to accomplish them. Get that out of way and the little things seem to fall into place.
