Ticketmaster has implemented "dynamic pricing" in the last few years, and it really, really sucks for consumers who want to see bigger shows at places like MODA. It's made it SO much more expensive!

I go to a TON of concerts, and it's gotten a lot more expensive since COVID. $71 for a show at Edgefield is in line with what I'd expect. And hey - it's much less than the $150-200 that's typical for Ticketmaster shows at MODA these days!

Forsman losing (very, very badly) is an Election Day tradition at this point. While I'm not worried about him winning, I agree that people should vote like he has a realistic chance. And for the record: yes, I already voted.

It was actually A&W that introduced the 1/3 pound burger to try and take business away from McDonald's and their Quarter Pounders, but it failed for the reason you stated. I guess it's true: 5/4 of Americans do indeed struggle with fractions.

Yep, same here. Unfortunately, Safeway is the closest option to me by far, so I end up going there a lot despite how much I dislike it.

I was in Kansas last week (where I'm originally from) and tried to tell my family that Portland is not in any way a "war zone," but they told me that I couldn't possibly know everything that was happening in a big city and that I needed to watch Fox News coverage to get the "real" story. 🙄
