Just got back from Predator Badlands. Outstanding. Up their with Prey. Going to need that soundtrack for sure.

Tubi has added the 80's Pac-Man cartoon and the Mister T cartoon. Guess I know what I'll have on in the background at work tomorrow.

The world is a trash fire most days, but at least the new once Upon a Katamari is a wonderful distraction.

Movie #88 The Thing (1982)

The last movie I watch every October. I just never get tired of watching The Thing. It remains my favorite movie. But, as a bonus, I get to watch a stream of John Carpenter in concert tonight.

Another couple lists I put together for the office horror chat was 20 horror movies that were streaming free on Tubi, and 10 free horror movies to stream on Fandango At Home.

Joe's 10 Favorite Lovecraftian Horror Movies

There were some big ones left off this list for work, simply because they popped up once or twice on other lists I had shared. My goal was to share movies a lot of these folks hadn't seen.

At work, I've been running a month-long horror chat. One of the things I've been doing is sharing Horror Movie lists, along with where to stream them.

I figured I could share some of my Top 10 favorites lists here for Halloween. 1st up:

Movie #87 Ginger Snaps (2000)

Went to an old favorite here. A fantastic coming of age werewolf movie. I can't believe how well this holds up 25 or so years later.

Movie #86 Hell House LLC Lineage (2025)
The Hell House saga comes to an end.

A colossal waste of time. Overly long, boring, nonsensical, and just downright needless. Adds nothing of value to the Hell House mythology, and has a hilariously awful ending. Easily the worst of the series.

Movie #85 The Draft (2025)
5 friends visiting a villa face an all-powerful force.

My 1st Indonesian movie. Starts off terribly, bad dialogue, bad editing & continuity. Then the reveal kicks in & I was floored. Very clever, original & funny. Good for fans of 1 Cut of the Dead & Cabin in the Woods.

Movie #84 More Brains! A Return to the Living Dead (2011)
A making of Return of the Living Dead documentary.

I never did see this, so it was nice to cross it off the list. Not as polished as some recent horror docs that have come out. But fun to hear all the shit that went down while making it.

Movie #83 Banshee Chapter (2013)
A man disappears after taking a drug. His reporter friend looks for answers.

Good cast. Budget wasn't quite there to fill out the world building. I liked that it was shot like a found footage flick without being one. Felt like a Benson & Moorehead movie.

Movie #82 The Night Flier (1997)
A reporter tries to track down a killer, who uses a plane to move thru small airports.

Honestly pretty fun. Miguel Ferrer is a great here. The story of a vampire pilot is surprisingly gripping. If you can track it down, it's a worthwhile low budget King adaptation.
