I LOVE how unhinged and melodramatic the official EU Parliament TikTok account is about the USBC law. Here all day for it.

Pleased to announce my publisher has ordered another print run of my book as we have very nearly sold out of the first print! The second print run will fix the 2 typos that eagle-eyed readers pointed out to me. So if your copy has the typos - you now have a collectosr 1tem!

Dramatic vid of Russian alleged hackers being arrested in... Russia. Rare to see this kind of activity but even rarer to see convictions. Love that one of the suspects was arrested wearing Hello Kitty pyjamas. Maybe that is the real reason for the raid... www.infostealers.com/article/russ...

M&S, The Co-op, Harrods, JLR, TfL, Kido nurseries. Teen hackers are being blamed for carrying out the biggest recent cyber attacks. In fact 7 British boys have been arrested so far this year for these hacks. People keep asking me what is going on and I keep paraphrasing this passage from my book:

My book's been out for 16 weeks now and I have signed more than 650 copies to give to people at events or send in the post. I will NEVER get tired of this! Making Ctrl+Alt+Chaos has been the hardest but most rewarding thing in my career.

Interesting. The hackers have messaged me to say they are now blurring the images of children. Even they now see how that their actions are beyond the pale. (Still continuing the extortion though). My conversation with them:

With events in Qatar yesterday our interview with the Elections watchdog didn't make it to air. So here are some of the clips of the interview.

The Telegram group of (probably) kids who’ve been hacking companies like Jaguar Land Rover and then bragging about it has closed down - this time they did it. 52k people have been following this small gang of nihilistic criminals. One of them/ a fan even got a tattoo of the group…

For this week's TechDecoded I wrote about the "unprecedented corporate accumulation" of bitcoin taking place. Apparently nearly 200 firms are now building bitcoin reserves. Got me thinking: How would Satoshi feel about Bitcoin now? Sign up to the newsletter here: cloud.email.bbc.com/techdecoded-...

AI crawlers and fetchers are blowing up websites, with Meta and OpenAI the worst offenders. New research from Fastly follows what Cloudflare said earlier this month. Seems inevitable that something has to give. www.theregister.com/2025/08/21/a...

HBO has made a documentary series about Julius Kivimaki and the Vastaamo hack (along similar lines to my book). They came to interview me for it last year and it looks good. But also - hilarious that the producers felt they needed to photoshop a hoody onto Kivimaki to prove he is a hacker! 😂

Good news here from Databarracks - number of UK businesses which are paying hacker ransoms is plunging. Only a small survey sample (500 respondents) but a good sign. datahealthcheck.databarracks.com/2025/
