He's trying to cripple you with a show of force. He wants you to panic. He wants you to freak out so much you can't accomplish anything. One way to resist fascism is by staying calm. Don't get caught up in the fear. Just do the things you CAN do. React to real stuff, not threats.

You only have to live through one day at a time, and you only have to live through things that are already happening. You do not have to imagine everything that might go wrong and panic about all of it. Breathe. Now, what's the next thing you have to do right now? Do it.
