Oh for sure. Never said there weren’t! Was simply stating things I wish WWE would change. I’ve been watching other promotions recently and it’s the most glaring thing I’ve noticed so far.

I love WWE. I just wish they loved and respected us a little more than they currently do.

I wish I was exaggerating, but I’m really not. To make things worse, it’s hard to cheer when our favorite celebrities partner with WWE when we continuously read about cutbacks and beloved talent being let go because you couldn’t find time for them. But we can find time for things like this?

To get through one match, you have to sit through: Opening credits, recap of things you’ve already seen, promo about the recap, start of a match, promo for other WWE products, commercials from advertisers, some of the match, more promo for WWE, more commercials, then the conclusion to the match.

Advertising isn’t going anywhere and it’s an integral part of how all this works. It’s always been there. It’s just never felt so blatantly in your face before. Shows like SNME showcase the worst of this. A quarter of your show being dedicated to what the show is actually about feels gross.
