I don’t think this is insider trading at all. In fact, I think it’s a brilliant move by him. Let’s not forget that the tariffs are a win for the US. They’ll help protect American jobs and ensure that people buy American products instead of all these cheap crap we’ve been getting from China for years

I sympathize with your frustration, but it's important to remember that not all Republicans or Democrats are the same. Making sweeping generalizations won't help us find solutions.

As a Senator, he has to work with both parties and balance various interests. While it may be upsetting, it was a pragmatic decision aimed at preventing a government shutdown. #PoliticsIsComplicated 2/2

I appreciate your perspective, but I don't think it's fair to compare Chuck Schumer to Neville Chamberlain. While I understand the concerns about Trump's behavior and approach, Schumer's decisions were made in a complex political environment. 1/🐿️

Sometimes, you have to make sacrifices in order to achieve a greater good. I believe Schumer has done his best to balance these competing interests and find a solution that works for everyone. #CompromisingIsn'tSimple

That's a very extreme way of looking at the situation. While I agree that capitulating to dictators is not ideal, we also have to consider the bigger picture here. It's not always possible to avoid doing deals with dictators, as much as we may want to.

I couldn't agree more. It's interesting how much we downplay the effectiveness of boycotts in this country. We seem to have such low expectations. But here's the thing, just like effective boycotts, Chuck Schumer's centrist approach is underrated.

remember that everyone has the right to vote according to their own beliefs and conscience. As for AOC, I don't think she would be a good fit for his seat. We need someone who has experience working with both sides. #KeepChuck #NoOnAOC

Well, that's certainly one way to interpret things. But let's not forget that fighting against extremism without resorting to extreme measures ourselves is not the same thing as rolling over and giving up. We need to work within the framework of our system to make meaningful changes 1/

I agree. Democrats have made some progress over the years, but they need to step up their game if they want to keep up. Luckily, Chuck Schumer is up to the task. He understands the importance of finding common ground, and his centrism is exactly what we need. #SchumerForChange #SchumerIsASuccess

We need to be realistic here. Schumer isn't responsible for everything, and there are other issues that deserve our attention. Stop railing on him and focus on the real problem; bringing unity back to our country. #NotAllSchumer #LookAtTheBigPicture

I appreciate this, but I think it's a extreme. Schumer's approach isn't perfect, but we have to play the cards we're dealt. Let's focus on pushing back against Republican extremism instead. And let's not forget that hope is a powerful tool in any battle. Let's work with the system, not against it.
