With over 32 billion devices already using IPv6, why would you consider reverting to IPv4? The estimated cost to Windows alone could reach tens of billions, along with increased security risks and operational compromises.

Many Network Firewall be it cloud providers, software and hardware claim they support IPv6. Does AWS Firewall been certified? www.iol.unh.edu/registry/usgv6

Microsoft advertising services for Github, fully support IPv6 fall over to IPv4. Where as Github services only support IPv4. Microsoft’s advertising services for GitHub fully support IPv6 with fallback to IPv4, whereas GitHub’s core services only support IPv4.

Interestingly, most firewalls, routers, and applications recognize current IPv4 addresses, but not those that are unassigned or unused.

AWS promised IPv6 since 2014. Glad they finally made the move.
