These tracks, and the album as a whole, are outstanding. The most underrated live album ever, it should have been promoted with more enthusiasm.

There’s definitely a connection. I’m a huge Deep Purple fan, and I was also in the audience the first night of recording that album.

Set the standard for every live album that came after. The idea of using the best performance of each song from different tour dates was a stroke of genius.
