Sorry, new to Bluesky, didn't know it wouldn't alert me to responses! I was talking about www.fanfiction.net/s/2889350/1/... which you simply must read until at least chapter 2, because for some reason, the 'intro' is rather terrible.

A bunch of people I know died from Covid, same as for most people I'd say, and that is with an insane amount of prevention; distancing, shutdowns, masks, galleons of desinfectants, treatments and vaccinations. If so many people still died with all of that, how would it have looked without ?

2/2 Try thinking about it like this: if you drove your car to work today, your lights, brakes and other security features were 100% effective in preventing accidents. If you told someone you arrived with no accident, did you claim that your type of car is 100% effective at preventing accidents ?

It's hard to tell whether you are honestly confused, or actively malicious in intentionally misinterpreting what you are quoting.

In case you are confused: just because *a* vaccine was 100% effective in *a* study does not mean, nor implies, that it's 100% effective.
