I’m not going to elaborate a lot here, but this is a global crisis for human rights work
In a lot of places, NGO that work towards human rights, public health and democracy are kept standing by USA's support. This is why Russia, Mali and Uganda, for example, recently passed such drastic laws against foreign financed NGO. The USA just gifted autocrats the neutering of their opposition.
