The delicious irony of Yankees fans being mad that a player signed "just for the money" like that wasn't their MO for decades. There are two teams in New York, a smaller-budget team just trying to make the most out of their resources, and then there's the New York Mets.

Rumor is we aren't in on Corbin Burnes. Any idea why the hell not?
This is the potential problem with the Soto thing. I'd love to have Soto, but damned if I wouldn't like to have a "rest of the damn team". We win the World Series, I sincerely won't care who's on that team.

I'm encouraged by Bluesky growth. Really hoping to get the baseball community that once flourished on Twitter before it became what it currently is. While I will uses this to speak on things beyond baseball and motorcycling from time to time, I will always be here mainly for baseball. #LGM #Mets
